St. Charles, Mo. based, purePR, expands its client portfolio with the addition of ATHENA Leadership Foundation of St. Charles County
At purePR, our mission is to help nonprofits and mission-focused for profits make an impact and we are thrilled to have ATHENA Leadership Foundation of St. Charles County join our client fold.
ATHENA, a chapter of ATHENA International, highlights outstanding professionals in the community and encourages the opening of leadership opportunities for women.
We believe in powerful missions. We are devoted to helping others amplify the very best messages, and ATHENA’s efforts in the St. Charles community are definitely deserving of attention. We’re taking on the goal of helping ATHENA become recognized as the leading association for women in business and leadership in our community.
ATHENA inspires women to reach their full potentials through education, affirmation, and mentoring. Through their annual leadership event and awards, ATHENA celebrates the strengths and qualities that women bring to business. purePR’s own Gretchen Jameson was a recipient of the 2012 Athena Leadership Foundation Emerging Young Professionals Award.
Among their accomplishments, the ATHENA Leadership Foundation of St. Charles has awarded grants and scholarships totaling over $200,000 and kicked off the Athena Powerlink Program in the metro area. ATHENA’s efforts to support leadership roles for women are certainly making a mark.
How purePR plans to partner with ATHENA:
We will be providing strategic branding and communications support to help ATHENA broaden its exposure in St. Charles County. We will lead the development of ATHENA’s program and content, specifically developing quarterly networking and professional development events for women in St. Charles County, which will launch next fall. We will also be the program and promotional (event management) lead for the organization’s annual spring business leadership summit and awards program, an event Gretchen co-chaired in 2013.
It’s meaningful work and we are honored to help!
